App vs Browser: What to Expect
Our kaumtoto app (Android APK) and web app (iOS / web) both offer offline account access, push notifications for deposit confirmations and withdrawal status, faster load times due to local caching, and the ability to save your login session. The Android APK also allows background notifications without relying on browser permissions. Browser access works on any device without installation and updates automatically when you refresh. Choose the app if you want persistent notifications and faster performance; choose the browser if you prefer no installation or use multiple devices frequently.
Device Compatibility
We at kaumtoto support Android 7 and later for APK installation and iOS 12 and later for web-app access. Most devices released in the last five years meet these requirements. If your device is older, you can still access kaumtoto via a web browser on desktop or tablet. We do not support Windows Phone or other legacy operating systems. If you encounter compatibility issues, contact our support team via email during business hours.
Common Installation Issues
Android users may see a warning that the APK is from an unknown source. This is normal because we distribute directly rather than through a third-party app store. To proceed, go to Settings → Security → Unknown Sources and enable it. Some devices may also require you to trust the certificate; tap Install Anyway if prompted. iOS users may need to enable web-app installation in Settings → Safari → Add to Home Screen. If the app crashes after installation, clear your browser cache or reinstall the APK. If you cannot download the APK, check your device storage and ensure your internet connection is stable.
Data, Permissions, and Account Security
We at kaumtoto use SSL encryption for all data in transit between your device and our servers. Your account credentials, payment information, and transaction history are encrypted at rest. The app requests only the permissions it needs: internet access for deposits and withdrawals, storage for offline caching, and notifications for account alerts. We do not request access to your contacts, photos, or location. Your account is protected by your password and, if enabled, two-factor authentication via email. If you lose your device, log in from another device and change your password immediately. We will not ask for your password via email or in-app chat.
